Satellite Programme: Tomorrow.io constellation

Programme description
A hybrid constellation of 30 small satellites with active (radar) and passive (microwave sounders) sensors to measure precipitation and ocean parameters for improving weather forecasting.
Satellites with 12 Ka-band radars and 18 MW radiometers are planned.
Full global coverage with <1 hour average revisit time.
Commercial programme implemented by tomorrow.io in the U.S.A. Aim to complete constellation by end 2024
The orbits of the satellites are sunsynchronous with heights around 500 km.
A range of "weather products" are made available to users.
