Satellite at L5 Lagrange point for space weather forecasting
Provides observations of the solar wind speed, density, temperature and dynamic pressure, charged particle environment and the direction and strength of the interplanetary magnetic field .
The L5 view enables observations of the sun to be made on that part of the disk yet to be rotated towards earth.
