Programme description
Two-satellite programme for land observation. Original name: “Momo” = “Peach tree”).
Japanese programme: JAXA (at the time: NASDA) responsible of development and operations.
Platforms actively stabilised over 3 axes.
Design lifetime: 2 years.
Sunsynchronous orbits around 10:30.
Replacement policy: launches at 3-year intervals.

Data circulation
Onboard stored and real-time data downlinked to JAXA stations.
Data processing and distribution from the JAXA Earth Observation Data Analysis Research Center (EORC).
