Programme description
Single-satellite programme, for land observation.
Bridging the Resurs-O1 with the Resurs-P programmes. Main improvement over Resurs-O1: image resolution and smaller, more flexible, platform.
Russian programme: Roscosmos responsible of the development of the space segment, RosHydroMet responsible of operations.
The satellite is actively stabilised over 3 axes.
The design lifetime is 5 years.
The orbit is sunsynchronous around 10:30.

Data stored onboard and downlinked to RosHydroMet acquisition stations. Processed and disseminated by RosHydroMet.
