Single-satellite programme, for vegetation monitoring.
Earth Explorer opportunity mission in the framework of the ESA Living Planet programme. ESA responsible of development and operations.
Satellite with active stabilisation over 3 axes.
Design lifetime 5 years.
Sunsynchronous dawn-dusk orbit at 06:00.

Data circulation
Onboard stored data downlinked to the Kiruna station.
Processing and archiving at the ESA’s Payload Data Ground Segment at the Centre for Earth Observation (ESRIN) in Frascati (Rome).
