Programme description
Constellation of four satellites following each other in orbit so as to provide frequent revisit time (up to 12 hours).
Follow-on of the CNES Pléiades series.
Airbus Defence and Space (France) responsible of funding, development and operations.
The platforms are actively stabilised over 3 axes.
The design lifetime of the satellites is 10 years.
The satellites exploit a sunsynchronous orbit around 10:30.
The four-satellite programme implies mutual redundancy.
