Programme description
  • Constellation of small satellites for Earth Observation
  • Muon Space lead this programme
  • Satellites can host a variety of payloads
  • The Muon pathfinder satellites are the start of a constellation in sun synchronous orbits
  • The FireSat constellation which has 6 band multi-spectral IR spectrometers
  • FireSat will deliver fire data at least twice daily to firefighters and scientists across six of the world's most fire-prone regions, from the western U.S. and eastern Australia to the Amazon Basin and northern boreal forests. 
  • Additional launches will take FireSat to hourly global revisit by 2029.
