Single-satellite programme for high-resolution land observation. Previous name: TWSat (Third World Satellite).
Indian programme: ISRO responsible of development and operations.
The platform is actively stabilised over 3 axes.
The design life time is 2 years.
The satellite exploits a sunsynchronous orbit at 9:30.

Data circulation
Real-time downlink to a network of appointed acquisition stations in S-band.
All data concentrated to the National Remote Sensing Center (NRSC) in Hyderabad for processing and distribution.
