Programme description
Single-satellite programme in the framework of the ESA Earth Explorer missions, addressing Earth radiation budget.
ESA undertaking following a proposal from the Italian Istituto Nazionale di Ottica (CNR-INO, Florence) in collaboration with other Italian and foreign instututes.
The platform is actively stabilised over 3 axes.
The design life time of the satellites is 5 years.
The orbit follows the one of Metop-SG (sunsynchronous at 09:30)
