Programme description
Single-satellite operational programme, contributing to the Disaster Monitoring Constellation (DMC).
Chinese programme: NRSCC (National Remote Sensing Centre of China) responsible of development and operations.
The platform is actively stabilised over 3 axes.
The design life time is 5 years.
The satellite exploits the sunsynchronous orbit of the DMC around 10:30.
Redundancy is implemented by co-flying with several other similar satellites in the DMC.
