Single-satellite programme in the framework of the US Earth Science Decadal Survey, demonstrating the use of lidar to monitor atmospheric dynamics.
NASA responsible of development of the space segment.
The platform is actively stabilised over 3 axes.
The design life time of the satellites is 3 years.
Sunsynchronous orbit, ECT TBD.
