  • 3rd flight unit of the GOSAT programme.
  • Main missions: atmospheric chemistry and multi-purpose MW imagery.
  • Instrument descriptions not fully available. The optical payload will combine the GOSAT-2 TANSO-FTS/2 and TANSO-CAI/2.  The MW radiometer, AMSR-3, will be a follow-on of AMSR-2 being flown on GCOM-W, with addition of channels at 165.5 GHz and in the 183 GHz band.
