Programme description
Dual-satellite programme for solar process study
NASA programme developed and operated in connection with a wide international scientific community.
The platforms are 3-axes stabilised.
The design life time of the satellites is 2 years.
The satellites are placed in the Earth’s orbit around the Sun, viewing the Sun from changing positions so as to implement stereoscopy.
