Programme description
  • Single-satellite programme, addressing chemistry of the upper atmosphere.
  • Framed in the context of a Canada/USA collaboration: CSA responsible of development and operations.  Lanch service provided by NASA.
  • The platform is actively stabilised over 3 axes.
  • The design life time is 2 years.
  • The satellite exploits a high-inclination drifting orbit.

Data circulation
  • The global data are stored onboard and downlinked to a CSA station in Saint-Hubert, Quebec, with subsidiary in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.  Further station in Kiruna and Fairbanks.
  • Data processing is at the SOC (Science Operations Centre), based at the University of Waterloo.
