Satellite Programme: Jilin
Programme details
Programme description
Series of small satellites for high-resolution land observation.
Planned constellation of 138 satellites by 2030.
Chinese commercial programme: developed for the China Center for Resources Satellite Data and Application (CRESDA) by Chang Guang Satellite Technology Co., Jilin Province, that also is in charge of satellite operation.
Three-axes stabilised satellites.
The design lifetime is 3 years.
The replacement policy is based on a costellation of redundant satellites to provide frequent revisit time.
Most orbits are sunsynchronous, with ECT around 10:30.
More information on all satellites can be found
here
There are too many satellites launched to list individually in OSCAR-SPACE but they are listed under the single Jilin satellite entry.
