  • The Carruthers Geocorona Observatory (originally called Global Lyman-alpha Imager of the Dynamic Exosphere or GLIDE) whose purpose is to study Earth’s geocorona — that is, the faint ultraviolet glow of neutral hydrogen in the exosphere, the outermost layer of Earth’s atmosphere.
