One of the high-priority Copernicus Sentinel Expansion Missions.
Main mission: to monitor evapotranspiration rate at European field scale by capturing the variability of Land Surface Temperature.
Complementary mission: to map soil composition, urban heat islands, coastal zone management and High-Temperature Events.
To operate in a constellation of (initially two) identical satellites, covering a period > 7 years.
